I went to visit a Buddhist temple with my friend yesterday while I was in Bangkok with a friend of mine. The temple is probably the largest one in Thailand if not the world.
Every first Sunday of the month they have a ceremony called "Buja Kraw Pra" a ceremony which foods are offered to lord Buddhas. The ceremony started with offering alms to monks in the morning, then a breakfast break and the main ceremony. We had lunch afterward. In the afternoon, they usually have dharma teaching. However, yesterday was special since they had Kathina Robes offering.
I was there from 6:00am until around 6:00pm. It was a very interesting day.
