Flight to BKK
I can't believe that I got a chance to go to Bangkok, Thailand again for the second times within 3 months. Unfortunately, this trip is only for 5 days. Nevertheless, I had a lot of fun and good experiences.I left SFO on Tuesday morning on UA's coach. The usual time is 11:30am. First section is from SFO to NRT - that Narita International Airport for non-frequent flyers like most of us. The flight is uneventful, which is always a good thing. Airline food was particularly bad - high-fat low-fibre diet. It is chicken of some sort that I didn't dare touching it. Fortunately, it came with salad with vinaigrette dressing. I always have plain salad - without dressing. I think it is tasty enough and at least I got to eat something. Thanks to my fellow non-talkative passengers, I got to sleep most of the first leg of the flight. Just before we landed, they served turkey sandwich. This was a roll with 2 small pieces of turkey. But don't let the look fooled you. I loved it. I wish I could have two. Imaging a skinny Asian girl asking for the second serving... oh the horror. We got there around 4:30pm Japan Time. It was not particularly late but since it is fall, the sun set pretty early.
